On your approach to Nantucket, you round Brant Point lighthouse and discover one of the most beautiful places on Earth: Nantucket Harbor.

Nantucket offers great restaurants, unique shops, beautiful old architecture, miles of gorgeous beaches, gardens, historic sites, bike paths and our amazing Whaling Museum. Town is only minutes away from your mooring via the harbor launch or using the free dinghy docks.

For a more tranquil experience, you can dinghy over to Coatue, a wildlife refuge with miles of secluded beach, wonderful swimming and great shelling. Alternately, you can head up to Wauwinet harbor for a picnic or to have a grand lunch at the The Wauwinet, or perhaps ride in to Children's Beach which offers a playground, lifeguards, restaurant and sometimes evening concerts.

After a full day in town, the harbor typically offers a light breeze and the opportunity for a refreshing dip! It is difficult to find a more spectacular setting for cocktails at sunset.
